San Luis Obispo, CA

We departed Davis at 10am this morning, and drove a quick 4ish hours to San Luis Obispo. The mountain terrain of California remained the same on either side of our van, but added to the scene were farms galore...perfect parallel lines of various crops and trees, and many were being harvested by workers.

San Luis Obispo is different from Davis, although it is also a college town. Less boutiques, more antique shops, and more of a main street feel rather than a grid of many streets. Joe and I went to the local gym which has an agreement with the hotel, and I actually got to lift some weights! yipee! Then I explored town a little bit...and found...drum roll please...a ROSS Dress For Less! Uh oh, there goes my paycheck :).

Tomorrow we have two shows, but I will be travelling around town taking pictures after that. The colors are vibrant in this town, many purplish blues and yellows and oranges. There is a hispanic influence that reminds me very much of the colors I adored in Costa Rica. I will post pictures tomorrow for you to see!

But for now, it's bed time...early show tomorrow...and I have a date with the ducky in the shower!
